1. Introduction
This policy explains what personal information MoverMunshi collects, why, and what rights you have. It applies to movermunshi.com and to the MoverMunshi application.

2. Two kinds of data
It matters which of these we are talking about, because our role differs.

3. What we collect about you
- Account information — name, business name, email address, mobile number, and the details you enter during setup.
- Billing information — plan, payment status and transaction references. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage information — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and timestamps, used to keep the service working and secure.
- Communications — messages you send us for support.
4. Why we use it
- To provide the service and your account.
- To take payment and issue invoices.
- To provide support when you ask for it.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To send service messages about your account. Marketing emails only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
- To meet legal and tax obligations in India.
5. Who can see your data
5.1 Other MoverMunshi customers
They cannot. Each account is isolated in its own workspace.
5.2 MoverMunshi platform staff
Our staff may access your account and the customer data in it for support, maintenance, backup and migration, technical troubleshooting, quality checks, and investigating suspected abuse or fraud. Access is limited to staff who need it for those purposes. This is also stated in our Terms of Service.
5.3 Service providers
We use third parties to run the service — hosting and database, payment processing, messaging delivery, AI processing, and analytics. They only receive what they need to perform their function and are bound to protect it.
5.4 Legal
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a lawful government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers located in India. Some service providers may process limited data outside India; where that happens we take steps to ensure it remains protected.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. After closure you may request an export within 30 days, after which we may delete it, except where we are required to retain records — for example tax and accounting records, which Indian law requires us to hold for a longer period.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, workspace isolation at the database level, and audited access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to Indian law, you may ask us to: give you a copy of your personal data; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict how we use it; or withdraw consent you previously gave. Write to hello@movermunshi.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If your customer contacts us directly about their data, we will normally direct them to you, since you are the controller of that data.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary for the service to function — keeping you signed in and remembering preferences — and privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Children
MoverMunshi is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
